Often, I get asked the question “Why did you become an attorney?”, and quite frankly, I get some weird looks when I start talking and answering this question. My reason for becoming an attorney is because I have always wanted to be an attorney. It might sound cliché or overrated, but that is my reason. Haven’t you ever wanted something very seriously in your life that you achieved? Right?

Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew what I wanted to be. It was very clear to me from a very young age, that one day, I will become an attorney no matter the cost. I have always been a go getter type of person. I would always get what I wanted, even if it deprived me of countless nights without sleeping for almost five years. Oh, did I forget to mention that I was pregnant and gave birth to my first born when I started law school. Yeap!!!

I take my goals, whatever they are, very seriously, and that is part of the reason why I am here today. What motivated me to incline and continue with what I always wanted was the respect I felt for this profession. In an effort to understand what drove me to this field, at a very young age, I worked as a legal secretary while completing my undergrad degree. I was very fortunate to have that experience. More so, when those attorneys were willing to hire me despite the fact that I had no prior legal experience.

From day one, I observed, listened, and studied every aspect, detail, process, behavior, and opportunity that I had within that job opportunity. Once I had a taste of what it could be like, I had no doubts in my mind that becoming an attorney was my dream. Having that experience opened my mind and helped me understand that I love the field of law and the satisfaction of helping people in need.

When you combine both, the respect for the profession plus the joy and/or satisfaction of helping people, it was the drive that I used to go through law school to the point that I almost lost my marriage during the process. So, why did I became an attorney???

Simply, because I LOVE IT. If put to good use and for the right reason, it can help people during their toughest times.

Because of those reasons, when I say that you are in the hands of the best attorney you will find, trust in me that I am fully committed to you. There is no other attorney that will care for you like I do.
